I am passionate about teaching! I teach Italian, Spanish, and ESL, and my students have ranged from seven years of age up to adults. During the day I teach Italian and Spanish in high school. I teach children and adults ESL two nights every week. During my summer break I take my twelve-year-old son to Central America. There we work with others to build homes in the mornings. In the afternoons I will either teach ESL to a middle school or a high school, depending on the day of the week. I am blessed to have a vocation that I enjoy and love. I'm from New York and I got my Bachelor of Arts degree in Hispanic Languages and Literature from SUNY - Stony Brook. I focused on South and Central America while I was an undergrad. I also got my master's from SUNY - Stony Brook; this time in Romance Languages (essentially Spanish and Italian).In addition to foreign languages, I also tutor students in reading, writing, phonics, literature, grammar, and public speaking.I also help students raise their scores in the language sections of the SAT and CLEP.
